Remote Support Officer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Remote Support Officer to join our team at J.C. Penney in New York City, New York. As a part-time Associate Level employee, the Remote Support Officer will be responsible for providing remote technical support to our customers. This role requires an individual with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role who is resourceful, motivated, possesses project management skills and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities:- Provide remote technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner- Document all customer interactions and technical solutions- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and technical skills- Assist in training new team members on remote support procedures- Adhere to company policies and procedures for data security and customer confidentiality

Requirements:- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a remote technical support role- Resourceful and motivated with excellent problem-solving skills- Strong project management skills- High emotional intelligence and customer service skills- Excellent communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Knowledge of technical support software and tools- High school diploma or equivalent
