Job Description:
We are seeking a Remote Customer Support Manager to join our team at Navient in San Diego, California. As a mid-to-senior level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in customer support and management roles.
Responsibilities:1. Manage a team of remote customer support representatives, ensuring they meet performance metrics and provide exceptional service to customers.2. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.3. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.4. Train and onboard new team members, providing ongoing coaching and support.5. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement in customer support processes.6. Collaborate with other departments to implement changes and initiatives to enhance the customer experience.7. Monitor and report on team performance, identifying opportunities for training and development.
Requirements:1. Dedicated and confident individual with strong leadership skills.2. Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and promote teamwork.3. Excellent communication and emotional intelligence skills.4. Proficiency in customer support software and tools.5. Experience in financial services or related industries is a plus.6. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
