Remote Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Exelon, a leading energy company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Remote Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This full-time entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are adaptable and energetic, with a keen attention to detail and a knack for innovation.

Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and manage communication strategies to engage stakeholders across various platforms- Create content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication and marketing- Assist with organizing and promoting company events, both virtual and in-person- Provide support for crisis communication and issue management as needed

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Experience with remote communication tools such as Zoom and Slack is a plus- Must have a high level of adaptability and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and a creative mindset for innovative communication strategies
