Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Remote Medical Biller/Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in medical billing and coding, with a strong focus on Prior Authorization. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals residing in Mississippi, Tennessee, or Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
Review and accurately code medical procedures and diagnoses.
Handle Prior Authorization processes efficiently and effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
Prior experience with Prior Authorization processes is required.
Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is a plus.
