Job Description:
Valero Energy is seeking a talented and motivated Remote Account Support Associate to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a full-time Associate Level position, the Remote Account Support Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, account management, and support to our clients remotely. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities:- Manage client accounts remotely and provide support as needed- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and maintain accurate records- Assist with processing orders, invoices, and other administrative tasks- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to better serve our clients- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities provided by the company
Requirements:- 3+ years of experience in account support or customer service- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Confidence and energy to engage with clients and team members effectively- Strong persuasion skills to drive sales and revenue growth- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
