Description: As a Reman IT Program Manager at PACCAR, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT programs and projects specifically related to the Remanufacturing division of the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology initiatives and drive overall program success. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of Remanufacturing operations and IT principles.
Key Responsibilities Program Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT programs and projects within the Remanufacturing division, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Project Oversight: Manage multiple smaller projects within the overall Reman project, concurrently, ensuring they are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders within the Remanufacturing division, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables. Remanufacturing Operations Knowledge: Learn and retain a deep understanding of Remanufacturing operations, processes, and challenges, and apply this knowledge to effectively manage IT programs and projects. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring potential issues are proactively addressed. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams have the necessary skills and support to deliver on program objectives. Budget Management: Monitor program budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership and stakeholders on program progress, risks, and issues. Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize disruption and facilitate smooth program transitions within the Remanufacturing division. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the Remanufacturing IT program management function, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT program/project management, preferably with a focus on Remanufacturing operations, is required. Strong understanding of IT principles, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry, particularly within the Remanufacturing division, is a plus. Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
