Registration Assistant position located in Charlotte, NCFull-time position supporting the Registration Office at a seminaryAssists with administrative activities, student support, and international student advising
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Assists with administrative activities of the Registration Office• Handles incoming phone, email, and walk-in requests• Processes registration actions such as course add/drop/withdrawal petitions, data entry, etc.• Assists Student Success Team with administrative duties• Creates accurate new student check sheets and updates current student check sheets• Serves as International Student Advisor and Designated School Official (DSO)• Maintains the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)• Advises students with immigration petitions and applications• Supports international students in crisis and helps access community services• Assists international students with processing work permits and other immigration matters
Requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Technical knowledge in Outlook, Word, Excel, Foxit, and TEAMS• Customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality• Organization and adaptability• Bachelor's degree preferred• 2+ years' experience in an office or administrative setting• 2+ years' experience in customer service• Knowledge of Gordon-Conwell and its academic programs is helpful
