• Interview patients in a courteous and efficient manner• Assess patients' ability to complete admission process• Alert clinical staff if immediate attention is needed• Verify patients' demographic information and identification• Obtain required information from payor systems• Identify and resolve issues with non-participating plans• Prepare necessary forms, documents, plates, labels, and wristbands• Maintain knowledge of government and third party payors• Ensure maximum reimbursement of all accounts• Maintain competency in complex and ever-changing payor systems
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• One year experience in customer service or healthcare registration• Demonstrated verbal communication skills• Strong guest services and customer relations characteristics
