Responsibilities
• Provide routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities• Care for infant, pediatric, and adult patients• Perform advanced airway care, including intubation and extubation• Perform electrocardiograms in various hospital areas• Implement cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols• Perform departmental specific duties
Requirements
• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy• Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License• Registered Respiratory Therapist plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications• Proficiency in the use of High Flow, BPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, Bubble CPAP• Optional skills: Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement, cardiac stress testing
