Job Summary: University Health Services strives to promote, protect, and restore health and well-being. As an integrated health care facility of medical, prevention, and mental health services, we offer high-quality medical care to all UW–Madison students. Our medical services include a primary care clinic and specialty clinics for immunizations, women's health, travel, and sexual health.
Our medical team is looking for a  talented nurse to fulfill the  travel health, allergy immunotherapy, and other needs of the student population. Someone in this position should have technical skills to handle injections and emergency responses to reactions,  and experience working under nursing protocols, preferably in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Responsibilities: Provides professional nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to ensure physical and mental well-being. 75% Provides care to individuals within a specialized area of medicine to ensure physical and mental well-being 15% Educates patients and their support systems on how to manage conditions and to promote the health and well-being of patients and those around them 5% Tracks inventory levels and places replenishment orders 5% May provide expertise, training, and guidance to the community, peers, and/or students Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison. Qualifications: Required:
- English proficiency
Preferred:
-Preferred 3 years experience as a registered nurse, preferably in an ambulatory clinic setting
-Experience working under nurse protocols, experience with travel health, allergy immunotherapy injections, administration of immunizations under protocol, TB skin test placement and assessment.
-Technical skills such as: injections, emergency response to anaphylactic allergy immunotherapy reactions
License/Certification: Required
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure

Work Type: Full Time: 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
Appointment Type, Duration: Ongoing/Renewable

Salary: Minimum $72,800 ANNUAL (12 months)
Depending on Qualifications
This an annualized rate, with the hourly starting rate $35/hr.
