There is an adventure and current opening waiting for a Traveling  Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse to work in Rapid City, SD Estimated Traveler Rates $2249 estimated weekly $62.50 Blended estimated Permanent address must be over 100 miles from facility Start Date: ASAP 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days every other weekend 36 hours Float position Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience South Dakota or compact RN license is required previous travel BLS ACLS NIHSS Epic Experience PCU level RN Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine), Heparin gtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration (preferred) Direct admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etc MI, NSTEMI & STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacers Backup Stroke unit and Medical Overflow Step down level experience with post cardiac/vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertion Staffmax Healthcare is certified by The Joint Commission and has earned its Gold Seal of Approval .
