There is an adventure and current opening waiting for a Traveling ONS Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse to work in Rapid City, SD Estimated Traveler Rates $3057 estimated weekly $62 Blended estimated Permanent address must be over 100 miles from facility Start Date: ASAP (January/February start dates also available)13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Travelers could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends, which include Friday, Saturday and Sunday unless wants every weekend Requirements: South Dakota or compact RN license is required 2 year nursing experience previous travel BLS ACLS NIHSS Epic experience Mixed unit with Med/Surg & IMC patients Pre/post-surgical patients, CVA, seizures, cellulitis, influenza, UTIs, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, renal failure with or without the need for hemodialysis, hepatic failure, gastrointestinal disorders and infections, soft tissue injury and minor fractures, and DVTs. Medication administration, titratable vasoactive drips, TPN/tube feeding, and blood product transfusions Peripheral IV, Midline, PICC and central line access, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, drains, and urinary and fecal collection devices Wound care, telemetry monitored patients Post neuro-intervention (preferred experience but education and resources are provided per unit if they have not had this patient type) Staffmax Healthcare is certified by The Joint Commission and has earned its Gold Seal of Approval .
