Responsibilities
• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care• Delegate and supervise care and teaching of patients and families• Implement medically prescribed interventions• Provide leadership and facilitate delivery of nursing care• Maintain current licensure and certifications• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations• Ensure patient safety and quality of care• Collaborate with multi-generational nursing family• Participate in professional practice councils and advisory councils• Contribute to the improvement of human life
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program• Obtain BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position• Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing• BLS Healthcare Provider certification• One year of hospital nursing experience preferred• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless exempt
