Job Summary:Special Touch Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse Supervisor. This is a full-time, hourly position based in South Charleston, West Virginia. As as RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to our clients in their homes, managing their medical needs and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your patients and make a positive impact on their lives.We are looking for a candidate to enhance the quality of patient management, maximize satisfaction and promote cost effectiveness. The successful candidate will be accountable for the full patient care cycle. The RN Supervisor is responsible for providing services within the framework of the ADW Program as outlined by the program requirements. Follow program requirements to maintain standards and governmental regulation/rules and guidelines. Achieves department and company goals through teamwork. Serves as resource and educator concerning issues of care, documentation and reimbursement.Reports To: AdministratorQualifications:Two years of related clinical nursing experienceEvidence of ability to supervise and direct Homemaker ProgramCurrent nursing license in the state of West VirginiaBehavioral Standards:Exhibits effective verbal and written communication skills with employeesExhibits strong organizational skillsEstablishes and maintains positive interpersonal relationships with persons of differing backgrounds in order to achieve desired goals.Exhibits strong leadership skills and ability to problem solveDemonstrates management skillsDuties and Responsibilities of RN Supervisor:Conduct Assessments prior to Start of CareOrient Homemakers to Plan of Care and clientConduct supervisory visit per program requirementsConduct post hospital and annual assessmentsConduct ongoing assessment and homemaker performanceMust be available by telephone at all times for on-call telephone after normal business hoursRecruiting and employing staffTraining and staff developmentEvaluation of HomemakerDocumentation and communication with Case Management agenciesQuality assurance monitoringConduct conference with homemaker to determine methods to implement client's plan of care and service planTest performance, knowledge and skill of homemakerPerform yearly evaluation of the homemakerCoordinate the service of the homemaker with the Case Management agencyDetermine client's ability to sign homemaker timesheetsReview homemaker timesheetsOther duties as assigned by the Administrator
