Our qualified and professional team of BCBAs and RBTs use their years of expertise and knowledge to develop comprehensive ABA behavior treatment plans to improve the social, communication, adaptive living, and behavioral aspects of each individual client. POSITION DETAILS As a Behavior Technician, you will:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in the home, school, and community environments Follow an individualized treatment plan tailormade by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address and improve deficits Implement behavior plans created by the BCBA Collect data through observation and submit detailed session notes Participate in training and team meetings Collaborate with supervisors and peers Some of the areas you will address with your client may include language acquisition, functional communication training, social skills training, daily living skills, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, community safety skills, toilet training, executive function training REQUIREMENTS Must be willing and able to travel to clients homes, schools, or other community based locations to provide services Experience working with children or related experience is required. Related experience includes working with children, working with individuals with autism, working with individuals with disabilities Related fields and roles include paraprofessional, special education, teacher assistance, classroom aide, early childhood, childcare, nanny, babysitter, direct care worker, direct support specialist, therapeutic staff support, home care, behavior support, behavior interventionist, or healthcare/pediatrics Professional or personal experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is preferred Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) Must be at least 18 years of age Must have completed the online 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training course OR must complete it within the first 30 days of employment (with our help & guidance, of course!) RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification through the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) is not required but is a plus Effective written an oral communication skills required Must commit to a schedule, have strong attendance, and a strong work ethic Must have reliable transportation with a current and clear drivers license Must pass a criminal background check including child abuse clearances NOTE ABOUT LOCATION: This posting includes a general regional location. Because our services are offered to clients in their homes, we will always match you with clients within 30 minutes of your location.
