Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality: Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Regional VP of Sales to join our team. This person will be primarily responsible for supervising, monitoring, developing and implementing all sales and marketing strategies in multi-branded hotels within the assigned region, through supervision of the property level Directors of Sales.
What You Will Be Doing: Primary objective is to shift share to hotel by measure of the STR Report and Hotelligence (if provided) Create and implement long and short-term marketing strategies and action plans to maximize sales and profitability in rooms, catering, food and beverage, and the overall operation. Direct the sales activities of the hotel to achieve budgeted goals and gain RGI. Supervise and monitor the execution of all hotel originated advertising programs to generate maximum consumer awareness and sales. Assist GM in hiring, training and monitoring of on-property DOS Conduct quarterly sales property visit that requires a written report and follow up action plan. Scheduled outside sales calls with DOS Conduct weekly one on one meeting with DOS Ensure all Midas S&M SOPs are in place and executed. Manage the sales operation of the hotel through the Director of Sales to achieve goals. Assist in the preparation of the hotel's quarterly SMART plans Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and segmentation goals Assist GM's/DOS's in maintaining and optimizing Brand Websites on a weekly, monthly & annual basis. Provide Weekly Reporting to Corporate DOS, VP of Sales & Marketing and Regional VP of Operations Participate in assigned properties weekly Revenue meetings when available Collaborate with Corporate DOS on content for Quarterly DOS & GM Call Enhance the property's community image and stay abreast of competition, new developments, and sales methods and techniques in the hotel industry to maximize profitability. Conduct and/or attend meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among company employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency. Keep General Manager, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Regional VP of Operations and the Corporate DOS fully and promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Monitor and appraise the performance of subordinate staff on a timely basis.
