Regional Training and Development Manager
Location: This role can be located in Dallas/Austin, TX or Ashburn, VA or Chicago, IL - hybrid in office preferred
Your role
The Regional Training and Development Manageris responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of various training and development programs within Operations and and the Global Training team. The Regional Training and Development Manager will work closely with HR and Regional, Sub-regional and local Operations to identify training needs, develop training materials, and facilitate training sessions to ensure operational staff have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles
What you'll do
Training Needs Analysis:
Collaborate with departmental managers to identify training needs and skill gaps among employees.
Conduct surveys, interviews, and assessments to gather information on training requirements.
Assist in designing and developing training programs, including content, materials, and delivery methods
Ensure that training materials and resources are up-to-date and align with company objectives.
Training Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
Communicate training schedules to participants and manage registrations
Training Delivery:
Facilitate training sessions, either in-person or through online platforms, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Training Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and completion certificates.
Generate training reports to track progress and provide insights to management.
Evaluation and Feedback:
Conduct post-training assessments and gather feedback from participants to make necessary
adjustments to future training programs.
What you'll need
Ability to assist with the creation of learning solutions by others, using appropriate learning strategies, including instructor-led learning, web based and virtual ILT, and hands-on, in-the-work learning.
Familiarity with e-learning knowledge management, training tools, tracking, monitoring, reporting utilization, goal progress, knowledge gains, and ROI in a Learning Management System (LMS),
Superior verbal and written communication skills and comfort communicating
High motivation level and appetite for fast-paced team environment; readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
Experience with learning analytics, data-driven and results oriented.
Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and project management skills
Demonstrated strong listening and collaboration skills for uncovering business needs and translating into executable requirements.
Ability to travel as required.
