Our client is currently seeking to hire a high-performing Regional Senior Project Manager based in one of the MidWest Region States within easy reach of Montana, Washington State & Colorado. Our partnership client is a Top 20, Nationally rated ENR Design Build General Contractor established for almost 100 years.
Through a strategic partnership with a long-time developer, they are expanding their operations into the MidWest States with projects in progress or in the pipeline in Montana, Washington State & Colorado. This exciting growth phase has created a unique opportunity for a Regional Senior Project Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a premier builder to work in a home-based role and to travel regionally where required to oversee multiple significant, high-profile projects across these 3 states in the $80m+ range.
Your new role
As the Regional Senior Project Manager, the goal of the role is to support the Region on the project management side to build high-profile Ground-up Multifamily Apartments & Hotel projects
You will be involved in full cycle project management from preconstruction to close
You will heavily support the preconstruction phase of the project from design right through to GMP agreement
You will lead multiple projects across the region in various different phases of construction
Continuously develop and strengthen the client relationship
Manage the overall budget and bidding process with the support of the project management team
Negotiate, award, write & negotiate contracts
Work in partnership with the Lead Site Superintendent to ensure the project stays within budget and on schedule
You will support the site-based Project Managers with mentoring, coaching & developing APMs & Project Engineers
What you'll need to succeed
This position requires at least 15 - 20 years of solid construction experience with recent Ground up Multifamily, Hotel project experience or Large Commercial Ground up projects. Design build project experience in the $80m+ range is most attractive. To be successful in this role you must have very strong technical knowledge of the construction process from preconstruction through to close as well as solid contract management and budgeting skills. You will have strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to interact successfully within the company from junior to executive level. You must have strong leadership abilities with the ambition & drive to grow into an executive-level role in the next 5+ years. Experience using software tools like Procore, Plangrid & Bluebeam is a must.
