Th e Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining sales of Speed Queen Consumer laundry products through our network of Distributors and associated retailers . Key aspects of this position include the execution and implementation of result s- oriented sales strategies , cultivation of a premium experience for consumers at the store level , creation and maintenance of high-quality business relationships with independent retail dealers and provide pre - and post-sales support in a variety of different areas .
Develop an a cute understanding of Residential Team goals and initiatives to ensure all actions are aligned to Team objectives Achieve sales and margin targets established by the Director of Residential Distribution & Merchandising for the assigned sales region Develop working relationships with our Distributor partners to complement the existing team and ensure for greatest impact of our programs and initiatives Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with retail laundry accounts throughout assigned region .? Aid these accounts in several key disciplines , including but not limited to product features and benefits, store marketing, revenue enhancement opportunities, and general technical support Implement company directed sales programs, promotions, and strategies to achieve volume and profit plans while expanding market penetration Conduct on-location sales training on Speed Queen Consumer laundry products and marketing strategies for retail owners and salespeople Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all current and potential customers within assigned region Explore and report on new Residential business opportunities for Speed Queen Stay abreast of competitive activity in the assigned sales region from the standpoint of products, promotional materials, sales techniques, pricing, warranty, and marketing practices. Report all deviations from norm to Alliance Laundry Systems corporate office on a timely and informative basis Prepare and submit various reports as required Education and Experience : Associate's degree in business or a related field is required ; combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered Minimum of 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience . Previous appliance industry experience is a plus Prior experience working with distributors is a plus Skills and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication , presentation and organizational skills Intermediate understanding of mechanics and electrics Ability to build good customer relationships Strong analytical and research skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat in a PC or Mac environment Strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work undirected with high accountability Travel: Ability to travel overnight 50-75% of the time within assigned market Standard and Physical Requirements: Position likely involves sitting long periods , standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and lifting Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain a US passport Alliance Team Members Demonstrate DRIVE: Dedicated : Follows through on commitments.
