Job Summary
We are currently hiring a

Regional Safety Director

for our

Risk Management

team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to analyze health, safety, and security risks for our customers, assess risk to the company, evaluate potential client liability, and make recommendations for improvement.
Essential Duties
Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:
Safeguards Company assets and minimizes Company exposure to losses by performing safety inspections and risk evaluations on current clients and on potential customers.
Receives requests for on-site safety inspections, makes on-site visits to customers' facilities, reviews and evaluates customers' written safety materials, inspects facilities for health and safety hazards and makes written reports of findings with recommendations.
Provides customers with sample safety programs and assists customer's s in locating appropriate sources for training, reference material, and information.
Provides on-going professional safety assistance and support services to customers and offers professional advice on safety related concerns and issues.
Works with sales personnel when questions arise and makes decision as to whether placements can be made in possible high-risk industries or companies, or jobs outside the scope of company's safety policy.
Serves as the internal subject matter expert on safety issues; develops and conducts training.
Determines need for new safety programs and procedures and supervises implementation of new safety programs.
Competencies
Competencies we value for this role include

bachelor's degree in Industrial Health and Safety or a related science field or equivalent, 5 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI, EPA, DOT, and general industrial regulations. Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of the Acts and Regulations to a variety of safety-related situations. Ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, customer-service orientation, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment.
