Introduction The Department of Natural Resources is hiring a Remediation and Redevelopment Regional Program Supervisor in the Natural Resources Region Program Manager classification within the Division of Environmental Management. This position is located in Green Bay Service Center. There is an opportunity to telework for up to 60% of the workweek dependent on work needs and performance. Position Summary This position is responsible for the supervision and implementation of the Remediation and Redevelopment Program within the Environmental Management Division, for integrating activities within this program within the assigned geographic area and for integration among those programs and all other DNR programs within the assigned geographic area. This position is responsible for directing all aspects of the Remediation and Redevelopment Program and is accountable for implementation of all aspects of this program. This position is responsible for developing, directing, coaching, mentoring and supervising permanent and LTE staff. This position serves on the Remediation and Redevelopment Program management team and is expected to be an active contributor. Customer and partner groups may include local governments, businesses, consulting firms, manufacturing industries, non-profit organizations, tribal governments, DNR staff, citizens, and other government and educational representatives.

Salary Information Remediation and Redevelopment Regional Program Supervisor ( Natural Resources Region Program Manager) starting pay is $43.00 - $50.83 / hour ($89,440.00 - $ 105,726.4 annually) Pay Schedule/Range 81-02.
A 2-year Career Executive trial period may be required. Pay on appointment will follow the provisions of the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan.
Job Details Travel: Periodic travel within the assigned geographic area, into neighboring districts as well as occasional statewide travel.

Qualifications Please describe the below qualifications in your resume and letter of qualifications to be considered for this position:
Required qualifications for this position includes all of the following: Experience leading or guiding a team (e.g., leading a team, work group, project, etc.) Experience, education or on-the-job training in the field of environmental sciences, environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, geosciences, earth sciences, chemistry, biology, water quality, or similar field. Experience applying policies and procedures related to environmental activities. Best-qualified applicants will also have experience one of the following preferred qualifications: Supervisory experience (e.g. evaluating performance, hiring, discipline, etc.) Working on soil, groundwater or sediment related projects (e.g. performing site investigations, environmental assessments, remedial actions, sampling surface water, data interpretation, reporting, etc.) Working with government programs or regulations Associate degree or higher in environmental sciences, chemistry, biology, geology, water quality, environmental engineering, earth sciences, or similar field.
