Dewberry is currently seeking a Regional Market Segment Leader - Water/Wastewater for its Boston office to lead the growth of the Northeast's Water/Wastewater group.
The Regional Market Segment Leader will be responsible for developing marketing and business strategies, fostering existing client relationships, and developing new clients and business to grow water market segment operations across the Northeast. Successful candidate will steer business development and service delivery of water/wastewater engineering groups with emphasis on both public and private utilities throughout the Northeast region with a focus on the growth of the Boston office.
In close collaboration with the enterprise Water Market Segment Leader, Northeast Operations Managers and Client Managers, the successful candidate will be capable of leading business development activities, pursuing new clients and potential project leads, preparing price and technical proposals, and coordinating with other regional managers to win and deliver water/wastewater engineering designs.

Provide technical support and modeling and planning expertise to local, regional, and national projects across different Business units Act as Client Manager for existing key clients in New England (e.g. Somerville and MIT) and support other client managers across the enterprise with needs in planning and modeling Participate in local, regional and national conferences, symposiums and get involved in industry organizations to help Dewberry develop business networks Support project managers in projects as needed Act as a bridge between different BUs that require similar skillsets (for example resiliency programs in the federal group versus resiliency programs at the municipal or state level) Actively seek and support new or on-going business development opportunities at the local, regional and national level B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering field is required, M.S. Degree is preferred. MA State Professional Engineering license is required At least 15 years' experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities for public sector water and wastewater projects A successful track record of managing engineering projects is required Client relationships and extensive experience delivering engineering projects Experience working with other public and private water utilities in the Northeast is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong client retention and business development skills Strong leadership qualities with emphasis on the ability to coach, mentor and develop staff Don't meet every single requirement?
