Regional Manager Accounting

Job summary
The Regional Accounting Manager is responsible for supervising, delegating in and participating in accounting departmental tasks for a Region.This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Manages and oversees the daily operations of the field finance accounting department• Monitors and analyzes accounting data, supports the month-end close process, and oversees the production and delivery of timely and accurate financial reports or statements• Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles, and internal controls• Assists in preparation of the annual budget and interim forecasts, including supporting schedules• Prepares a varied array of standard analytical reports related to job performance, operational efficiency, and financial accuracy• Assists other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business• May prepare ad hoc financial analyses as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required• (3) three years or more experience in Accounting and working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures that apply to varied situations• Strong Microsoft office skills, particularly in excel• Hyperion and SAP experience is preferred• Strong aptitude for working with numbers• Must be detail oriented with minimal errors• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Excellent customer service skills• CPA or CPA candidate preferred• Travel up to 25%
