We're seeking someone to join our team as a Reference Data Operations Associate in Shared Services & Banking Operations who will play a critical and active role in the day-to-day operations.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. Read on… What you'll do in the role:- Assist in vetting data conclusions, sharing recommendations and driving actions forward- Serve as a subject matter expert for your functional area, proposing and implementing improvements/changes- Train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contribution.- Collaborate with a wide range of senior stakeholders across the Firm on model risk governance- Maintain stakeholder relationships with functional lines and other internal counterparts- Provide first class level of support by reviewing, authorizing, and ensuring the proper and timely setup of accounts, maintenance of accounts, and settlement instructions completed by vendor- Responsible for ad hoc requests, updating and authorizing firm instructions, special projects as needed, UAT testing of enhancements and onboarding new processes as requiredWhat you'll bring to the role:- Aptitude to work in a fast paced environment- Ability to handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad hoc requests- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in BusinessRole is hybrid and requires 3 days/ per week in office attendance.We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 85 years.
