Position Title: Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator Job Group: Professional & Scientific Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in related/supporting field of study
Experience demonstrating an understanding of student recruitment, financial aid, academic advising or closely-related student services
Experience in Admissions or student recruitment in a higher education setting
Experience and proficiency with data management and/or CRM systems to be used for forecasting, goal setting, and communication Job Description: The Undergraduate Programs Office within the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University is accepting applications for an Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator (Student Recruiter II) who will assist and support the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment as a key member of the College's recruitment team, focusing on campus visit programs, prospective student correspondence, and outreach. Duties include assisting with outreach, recruitment, and yield activities for prospective business students (primarily high school students); leading the coordination and implementation of on-campus recruitment events (e.g. academic information sessions, Experience Iowa State presentations, Admitted Student Day); regularly communicating with prospective students and families as well as developing relationships with high school partners; contributing to Undergraduate Student Services activities; and serving students, staff, and faculty in the Ivy College of Business.
The successful candidate will have the ability to successfully communicate verbally, virtually, and in writing; demonstrate effective public speaking and presentation skills; possess excellent computer skills to organize and manage recruitment and CRM data/communications; and strong interpersonal skills. The candidate will also possess knowledge of student development, the ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts, and the ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals in roles external to ISU and across campus.

• Intermediate-level position with solid professional and/or technical skills working under general supervision to achieve goals
• Applies broad, working knowledge of the principles of the field to moderately complex, difficult, and varied problems and issues
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and resolve problems
• Responds to a broad range of inquiries and requests
• May provide training and/or direction to lower-level staff
• May lead projects of moderate scope and complexity
• Provides guidance to students
