Responsibilities
• Operate switchboard telephone system by answering phones and directing customers to the appropriate department• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, while minimizing hold times• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate department for resolution• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; make correct change and issue receipts• Assist managers with various clerical duties as needed• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with customers and fellow employees
Requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus• Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays• Ability to effectively communicate customer interests, needs and requests to management and sales personnel• Professional appearance
