Nesco Resource is seeking a Receiving Associate for one of our long-term clients in the Rochester Hills area. The receiving associate will receive electronic parts, hardware, materials, supplies, or tools by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Counts and verifies all incoming packages to the client and inspects for any visible damage. Review incoming receipts and verify that the client part number, manufacturer part number, and packing slip all match; the quantity also matches the client purchase order and the receipt entry screen. Verify that parts meet all quality code requirements and enter the Date Code and the Lot Code for tracking, as required per the receipt. Receives material against the Purchase Orders using the MES software. Adheres to the MSL and Shelf Life Labels according to the Receiving Procedure. Place parts/materials/supplies on stocking carts according to the location given by the computer. Notify other departments via email when material or supplies are received for those areas. Investigate any Receiving Discrepancies. Trains and assists other Receiving Clerks. Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school Diploma required. A one-year college or technical school certificate, plus three to six months of related experience and training. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
