The Role: The Receiver is responsible for systematically receiving all incoming goods by entering orders accordingly into the inventory system. The receiver is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming shipments and routing them to processing areas.
Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities): Responsible for reviewing packing lists for shipment/delivery. Labeling shipment after check-in. Documentation of shipments overall status in SAP (i.e. incoming, reversals). Investigating Open PO's, reversing for adjustments. Responsible for accurate digital storage: updating inventory data entry, delivery notes, receipts. Adheres to strict safety standards. Follow up with procurement for damaged deliveries. Works and communicates the status of incoming equipment & expected deliveries with project team and logistics manager. Communicates with inter-departmental leaders regularly. Processes high volume of email communications with vendors & purchasing team. Other related duties as assigned by the logistics manager. You bring: High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience in logistics and/or in a manufacturing environment or warehouse. Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. Able to manage multiple delivery tasks and documentation of delivery. Strong analytical skills. Strong communication & problem-solving skills. Team player. Initative. Intermediate MS office skills including outlook and SAP. Position is subject to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
