Responsibilities
• Provides healthcare customer services to patients, families, and guests• Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques• Exercises professional judgment while maintaining medical ethics• Controls and maintains a safe examination and working environment• Maintains basic records and reports• Assists in maintaining files and documentation• Utilizes technique charts for formulation• Processes x-ray film• Provides care appropriate to patient age and condition• Assists physicians in examinations and other related duties
Requirements
• Must be licensed by the State of Arkansas• ARRT registry preferred• Knowledge of policies and functions of other departments• Ability to operate radiography equipment• Evaluate radiographs or images for technical quality• Inject contrast materials under supervision• Comply with HIPAA Privacy and Security policies• Report equipment malfunction• Provide ambulatory transportation of patients• Provide patient education and documentation
