Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated fulltime Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care by administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with established protocols. Accurately position the beam of radiation and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan. Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, patient treatment delivery, patient treatment records, radiation safety and quality assurance functions. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process. Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards. Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment. Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed. Dedication to patient care and safety. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program Must hold a current: Washington: National ARRT certification and current WA license for Radiation Therapy Idaho: National ARRT certification Must have valid CPR ** Monday - Friday work schedule and on call as needed.
