Description: Formulation, establish manufacturing process, and financial aspects of ingredient cost.
Evaluate and approve new materials including functional tests with different functions; conduct risk assessments.
Conduct shelf-life studies, evaluate product stability and recommend product shelf life.
Preparation of comprehensive process documentation to enable smooth commercialization and training of plant personnel, and meet internal and external audit requirement including regulatory compliance, label reviews, BOM specification, raw ingredients specification, product specification, shelf life, etc.
Should be open and available to travel domestically and internationally dependent on business and projects need.
Special assessments and duties from management. Skills: quality assurance, haccp, SQF Audit, quality control, Project management, food science, GMP, Quality Top Skills Details: quality assurance,haccp,SQF Audit,quality control,Project management Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science-related field
2+ Years of Food R&D Experience within food industry
Full-scale commercialization experience
Knowledge of food and safety regulations is required (FDA, USDA, CFR (Code of Federal Regulation, Canadian Food Inspection regulation).
Knowledge of process and package development, QA, project process management, financial hurdles, and strong PC skills are preferred.
