Job Description Maintain a safe R&D lab environment by taking on active safety roles in the R&D lab Follow the guidelines and best practices related to lab notebooks, data storage and backup Conduct and document inventories of chemicals and consumables in the lab Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and canisters Organize the lab storage Conduct well-documented reactions, purifications, chemical fillings following established instructions Skills Required College student majoring in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Excellent communication and computer skills A team player that puts safety first Familiarity with water and moisture sensitive chemicals. Experience with operations inside glove boxes Education/Training/Certifications B.S in chemistry or related fields Additional Requirements Physical Requirements: Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, FRC clothing Ability to enter and work in confined spaces Ability to wear a respirator Pay Rate/Salary $33.00 per hour We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
