Responsibilities
• Spearhead the creation of novel materials for zinc alloys and zinc-based products• Lead the scaling of new products and processes to the manufacturing level• Collaborate with diverse teams for successful product development• Engage with potential customers and build lasting relationships• Provide technical support to ancillary groups• Take charge of developing and testing new zinc alloys• Collaborate with the coinage lab to enhance products and processes• Showcase lab development results internally and to customers• Attend trade shows and conferences• Stay abreast of advancements in zinc and electroplating
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree a plus)• 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in metals• Familiarity with heavy manufacturing environments• Strong knowledge of chemistry and chemical safety related to metals
