The Quality Tech will provide support to the organization relative to the improvement of quality and provide a quality interface, expertise, and support to the production team in assuring that our products meet engineering requirements. The candidate shall be highly motivated and an effective team player with strong communication and influential skills. Primary Responsibilities: Performs quality control inspection on the production floor to ensure they are following the process and procedures.
Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Review and approval of compliance documentation First Article Reports and required inspection documents.
Support the execution of zero defect plans, On-time delivery, and Quality reduction initiatives to our customers.
Other duties and responsibilities that may be added or assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications: Two years of related experience with a minimum of One year in the quality manufacturing area.  Fully able to read Blueprint, weld symbols, and other call-outs. Ability to identify Weld defects. Must be able to take measurements and dimensions (using a tape measure, micrometer, calipers.) Must have the ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be goal orientated and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals. Able to communicate well with others and management. Preferred Qualifications: CMM(Coordinate Measurement Machine) NDT (Non Destructive Testing) Auditing (Process & Procedures) Has knowledge in visual Weld Inspections Manufacturing Quality Training and certifications. Experience in First Article Inspection Reporting Experience in LPI testing (Liquid Penetrant Inspections) Process and procedure development experience. Education:  High School Diploma or GED, with some college a plus. Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to respond to production floor inquiries. Ability to effectively present information to employees, customers, and management. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Work independent, problem solve, troubleshoot Xtreme Manufacturing produces 16 telehandler models, which are assembled and sold in North America. They also produce E-Z Loader truck beds at their headquarters and assembly facility in Henderson, Nevada.
