Major Responsibilities: Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports Leads and drives projects Works with every applicable function within the site to determine the appropriate process improvement Implements actions to ensure the effectiveness of the QMS for the assigned site and summarizes corrective action results and feeds back into the QMS for continuous improvement Determines cost and capability of meeting customer requirements Develops, deploys and maintains the quality planning system (i.e. control plans, etc.) Reviews all the corrective actions submitted by the team for final approval Completes analytical review of the QMS to support reduction in scrap, rework, and warranty Aligns the site budget, personnel, continuous improvement projects and kaizen events Gets customer approval on deviations as required and implements systems to meet those customer requirements Other duties as assigned by management Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor's degree in related field 4 or more years of experience in similar role and in a manufacturing setting Proven ability of managing others Strong Project management skills Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work independently and on team Experience in Oracle and or Ultriva a plus Expert level in MS Excel Experience with MS PowerPoint
