Position Overview: The Quality Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the quality assurance and control systems within the manufacturing environment. This includes developing and improving processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Quality Manager will be a key leader in defining and executing the company's quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's quality assurance and control systems
Develop quality assurance plans, standards, and procedures
Identify and analyze quality issues and recommend improvements
Monitor and report on product non-conformance and corrective and preventive action plans
Conduct internal and external quality audits and inspections
Liaise with suppliers to manage quality control
Provide guidance to employees on quality assurance and control activities
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Prepare reports and metrics for senior management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing
Experience in quality systems and standards, inspection sampling methods, auditing, and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
MBA preferred
Nice to Have:
MBA
SAP Experience
Experience with ISO, BRCGS (or other GFSI certifications).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification or training.
