ABOUT SEYER INDUSTRIES Founded in 1957, Seyer Industries is a small business located in St. Peters, Missouri, specializing in high-complexity machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and maritime industries. Seyer is a turnkey supplier with extensive capabilities, including CNC machining, design engineering, mechanical and electrical assembly, painting, kitting, welding, and NADCAP-certified penetrant and magnetic particle inspection. Principle Responsibilities: Review nonconforming product and make disposition decisions such as accepting the product back to production, initiating rework/repair, or rejecting the product as scrap. Review and submit nonconforming product tags to customer Material Review Board for disposition. Follow-up and execute customer MRB disposition accordingly. Collaborate with Production to document and classify nonconformances accurately, including detailed information on the nature of the nonconformance, location, and severity. Responsible for ensuring nonconformance documentation is processed through internal NCR workflow processes as timely as possible. Lead or participate in investigations to determine root causes of nonconformances and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Maintain a centralized system for tracking and managing NCRs and generate regular reports on NCR status, trends, and effectiveness of correction actions for management review. Responsible for providing training and educational support to employees on NCR processes and procedures, including the importance of accurate reporting of nonconformances. Work with Accounting/Finance to ensure quality costs are tracked and allocated correctly. Monitor and analyze quality costs to identify trends. Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned. Maintain excellent communications and working relationships with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, and Production. Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Seyer's Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards (AS9100) Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and conform to Seyer Industries Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, and procedures. Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment Excellent organization skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Consistent and dependable attendance.
