Northwest Aerospace Technologies ("NAT"), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircrafts, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue Chip customers.
The Quality Engineer is responsible for various phases of managing the Quality System. Will recommend the revision of specifications and formulate Quality System policies and procedures. Conduct training in all aspects of the Quality Management System, corrective action, and monitoring and measuring concepts and tools. The Quality Engineer is the control point for the analysis, reporting and training of a product line or lines. This job reports to the Director of Quality
•Experience with the AS9100D and AS9102 standards inspection planning, tools and processes required.
•Managing and maintaining the Internal and External Corrective Action system for NAT.
•Managing and maintaining the Internal and External Audit process for NAT.
•Managing and maintaining nonconformance process, tool calibration and conduct investigations and corrective actions into product failures and external and internal non-conformities.
•Identify continual improvement opportunities and investigate implementation of the opportunities
•Conduct internal and external quality audits of NAT's Quality Management System (QMS) and suppliers.
•Works with the quality control and production personnel to drive the continuous improvement process.
•Monitors and assists first article inspection (FAI) information system.

Other Skills: Good trouble shooting skills and strong communication skills required. Familiar with general quality systems. Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and other related literature is necessary.

Education: BS degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in related fields.
Experience: 3-4 years' experience within the quality environment. Quality certification strongly desired.

Other Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and other related literature is necessary .Good trouble shooting skills and strong communication skills required.
