A Quality Engineer with 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing setting is needed in the Seneca, SC area.
QUALITY ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop and maintain the Quality Management System. Generate, maintain, and submit documents associated with customer required packages (PPAP, SPC, PFO, FMEA, and gauge R&R documents). Manage documentation preparation for customer on-site source inspections. Assist the Quality Manager with the implementation and maintenance of an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 approved quality management system. Function as primary point of contact for customer complaints pertaining to documentation and compliance to specification. Act as the Lead Auditor for internal and supplier audits. Implementation of continual improvement and corrective action requirements. QUALITY ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a technical field related to the subject matter. 3 years' manufacturing experience in quality management, quality engineering, or six sigma application. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate skills with MS Office. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-9001 environment. Strong knowledge of lean principles and root cause analysis. Statistical data analysis and problem-solving ability. Ability to interpret customer specifications and manufacturing requirements. Team building ability through all levels and areas of the organization. General understanding of performance management requirements. Please submit a resume for consideration.
