Quality Engineer Job Overview: You will ensure the overall quality of machined parts by working with the manufacturing team as well as solve quality-related issues. You will test processes, monitor quality standards, create documentation, devise quality tests, and serve as the primary contact for inspection data submission.
You'll be a great fit if: You can work with manufacturing as needed to solve quality related issues You can work with manufacturing to develop and maintain quality related documentation such as PFMEA's, balloon drawings, quality inspection plans, process flowcharts, and process warrants You can maintain the company's gage program to include calibration, maintenance, and procurement You are able to work with suppliers and customers on quality concerns You can function as the primary contact for inspection data submission as required to assigned customers You are able to oversee the corrective action (internal & supplier) system You can conduct internal audit, including sister companies You can conduct quality management system training You can perform other duties as assigned What you get: 10 Paid Holidays Serviced Base PTO Gainsharing Exciting, fast-paced environment On-site Fitness Center & Medical Clinic Weekly Pay Company Provided Uniforms and Safety Shoe Allowance Performance Merit Raises Climate Controlled Environment Free Employee Coffee Requirements
To be considered you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 2-3 years related experience or a combination of education and experience Excellent organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with computer systems Thorough knowledge of quality management systems and a strong ability to interpret drawings Good understanding of the machining process A willingness to learn and grow Type: 1st Shift, Full Time
