We are working with a client that is a World Leading Precision Time & Frequency Technology firm in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision timing, frequency control and synchronization products for satellite and terrestrial applications. Job description: The Quality Engineer's primary responsibility is to assist Manufacturing in solving the product, process, and systemic problems that occur daily. *Must have Aerospace/Defense experience to qualify
Responsibilities:
* Assist Manufacturing in solving the product, process, and systemic problems.
* Assure the quality of product used to manufacture FEI products.
* Performing supplier evaluations (surveys and audits).
* Reviewing and dispositioning nonconforming incoming material
* Implementing corrective and preventive actions with suppliers
* Reviewing and approving incoming material inspection and test data
Requirements:
* 1+ year(s) experience as a Quality engineer or related Experience
* Experience working in Aerospace/Defense.
* Experience working with AS9100.
* Experience working with Space level equipment is a plus.
Job location: Uniondale, NY - On-Site.

Compensation : Up to 85k base + Benefits (Salary based on Experience)
