Responsibilities
• Perform receiving, in process, and final audit inspection• Record attribute and variable data on in process inspection record• Verify procedures and inspections performed by operators• Support set up and operation of stamping presses• Perform final audit inspection and tag parts properly• Notify press or production if non-conforming material is detected• Communicate findings and participate in corrective action process• Perform First piece and in-process inspections• Perform Last Off inspections and provide part data for tooling repairs• Generate reports of nonconforming material and identify trends
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED• Some college or manufacturing technical trade-school coursework• Proficient use of measuring equipment and checking fixtures• Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 Compliance Criteria• Ability to read blueprints• Computer literacy and knowledge of workplace machinery
