Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: Test and deliver complex software to accomplish business outcomes Subject matter expert on testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements Help condition and generate test data, build and execute both manual and automated test suites, record and communicate the test results, and assist with triaging defects Ensure regression test suites are maintained and well designed Individual will be part of scrum teams, partnering with development to deliver on projects that are a part of integrated releases, monthly application code changes and support break fix work as well Support the automation of scripts, updating and managing them accordingly Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements Participate in test planning and ensure stories are well refined and contains clear acceptance criteria Identify automation opportunities and develops test automation for applicable test types Assist in identifying and managing sensitive test data Report issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for review Participate in triaging reported issues/defects and assists with resolving or escalating them as necessary Trace tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirements Requirements: Good knowledge on Agile Methodology and the Scrum process Experience in Mobile testing Perfecto - Mobile Automation, Performance, and Monitoring Selenium Desired Skills: A degree in Computer Science or related discipline 5+ years of experience in building test automation for large scale applications (e.g., e-commerce) Proficient in writing code in one or more of the following languages - Java, objective c, typescript, junit, .NET, Flutter Detail-oriented with attention to product quality Proven experience in requirements gathering techniques, use case definition, test planning/execution and system requirement analysis Have a can-do, do what needs to be done attitude Ability to shift priorities and work efficiently Fast learner with good analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work collaboratively and have good interpersonal skills Pay Range: $50.42-$58.42 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
