We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Quality and Regulatory Analyst to join a leading Company located in the Bellevue, WA surrounding area.
Pay Range: $30 - $50 The Quality and Regulatory Analyst is skilled in the quality, food safety, and regulatory fields, with a focus on the improvement of processes in these areas to reduce cost and risk. The position includes in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, food safety management systems (including pet food and pharma requirements), hazardous chemical reporting, and federal and state-level regulatory requirements applicable to products commercialized by the organization.
Responsibilities:
Supports internal team members by providing guidance, direction, and interpretation of quality standards and systems, health and safety laws and regulationsServes as a primary point of escalation internally and externally for all compliance-related issuesEnsure compliance with the company's health & safety policies and procedures, including reporting all hazards to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment is maintainedPartners with cross-functional leaders to ensure processes, systems, and policies are in place to support and implement compliance activity and best practices for imports, exports, and product handling as governed by the safety data sheetSupports the qualification (approval) of new supplier and new products and maintenance of their qualified statusReview and maintain all necessary product collateralHandles requests related to supplier and product informationComplete customer questionnaires, as applicableLeads or assists in the development or updating of company policies and standard operating procedures in alignment with applicable regulationsReport on key facts and metrics pertinent to quality and regulatory management to ensure timely management and corrective actions are carried outMay support internal and external quality audits Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Business Administration, or related fields from a fully accredited four-year institutionMinimum 5 years of experience in quality/regulatory or related fieldExperience working for ISO9001:2015 certified facilities of other highly regulated quality systems preferredExperience working for a GFSI-compliant facility preferred (FSSC22000 or BRC, or SQF or IFS certification)PCQI & FSVP certification preferredDesired Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skillsProficient with safety data sheetsAbility to maintain knowledge of applicable corporate, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements for product, environmental, and general regulatory complianceExhibits versatility when interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationshipsHighly adaptable, self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvementMeticulous attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic and initiativeBenefits offered to vary by the contract.
