The Quality Control Technician position is instrumental in assuring traceability and document packages meet quality standards and requirements to ensure customer expectations are achieved. These requirements and expectations are accomplished through attention to detail, and driving continuous improvement of the documentation process. Essential Job Functions Collaborative interaction with manufacturing and engineering to optimize documentation related to quality and inspection checks. Ensure order documentation deliverables are achieved. Assist in maintaining folder structure to match standard or customer documentation packages. Monitor documentation commitment dates from operations and engineering. Acquire cut-sheets and manuals. Identify and tag to meet customer requirements. Work with Quality Control Supervisor to regularly and timely notify affected departments of any special requirements. Gather required documentation and assist Quality Assurance in assembling documentation packages prior to customer visits. Work with the Quality Control Supervisor to identify quality submittals and schedule with the Project Manager. Coordinate and complete required Quality submittals. Complete receiving inspection responsibilities as needed. Contribute to Quality Control team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Regular, in-person attendance due to necessary teamwork and personal interactive nature of this position. Overtime may be required at times to fulfill responsibilities. Assist the Quality Control Supervisor and other business units with assigned tasks, as needed. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies) Excellent communication skills both orally and written. Ability to work independently or in a team. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals at all levels. Strong organization and time management skills. Basic computer knowledge required. Ability to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office preferred Keen attention to detail. Education and Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. One to three years' experience in quality or manufacturing preferred.
