Responsibilities: Conduct physical observations of the processing environment, quality of the product, and packaging defects; notify necessary personnel of variations or defectsSegregate and secure any product not meeting food safety or quality criteriaRecord all results/data from all inspections, monitoring activitiesProvide written and verbal observations to drive improvement of food safety and quality compliancePre-op inspection to monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production; and that employees are performing required duties in a clean and safe mannerMonitor and verify compliance to HACCP programs, CCP monitoring, SSOP's, and employees for compliance with GMP'sCollect samples for the lab at a frequency consistent with new and existing customer requirements, including collecting microbiological samplesThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
