Qa Software Tester

Akkodis is seeking a QA Software Tester for long-term W2 contract position with a client located in Louisville, Kentucky. This contract position is renewed annually, as well as offers 5 days PTO and paid holidays. This is an on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.
***No C2C; No Corp-to-Corp*** Pay/Salary Range: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour on W2
Job Responsibilities: Performs software and product quality verification and validation. Documents defects in defect reporting system. Create manual tests and test plans from available tech documentation. Qualifications: Minimum of A.S. Degree in a related field such as Comp Sci, Comp Engineering, or Elect Engineering. 2 years of software development and/or testing or equivalent education. Strong understanding of software development processes. Ability to read, understand and create technical documents: specs, requirements, test plans. Knowledge of Wi-Fi / Cloud Based software and Android software. Experience with black box testing. Able to write code (Python, Java, JavaScript, Java Node, and GitHub).
