Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Build market data solutions by leveraging an internal data flow platform to assist in fullreval and other stress testing initiatives for the Global Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk Organizations Ensure the market data infrastructure meets the needs of the Global businesses with an eye towards the future Work closely with the Quants to drive the market data analytics and technology infrastructure in a consistent direction Work closely with each Line of Business technology team to ensure consistent usage of the market data and the underlying technology and drive the adoption of enhancements to both the data and the technology Work closely with the support operations (Middle Office, Finance, Risk, Audit, etc.) to ensure advances in market data and technology continue to satisfy their control requirements Become a subject matter expert for our internal market data systems and help drive the retirement of the legacy platforms while assisting our clients during the migration efforts Be involved in requirements gathering, workflow design, story writing and product management in terms of representing the larger market data team with respect to these initiatives Requirements: Expert level understanding Market Data systems Familiarity with Capital markets and/or banking and familiarity with internal analytics Proficient at Python or a polyglot developer with the ability to pick new skills Quartz and GDA expertise Exposure to financial market data Quartz FICC Product Knowledge Pay Range: $63.68 - $71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
