Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies to support our growing business. Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet company goals and objectives
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, price, and delivery terms
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials to support production schedules
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, production, and finance to understand and anticipate material needs
• Develop and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry regulations
• Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and market trends, to senior management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the medical device industry
• Strong negotiating and contract management skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute purchasing strategies
• Experience with inventory management and forecasting techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
