Purchasing Associate

Full job description Are you an experience Purchasing Associate ? We are assisting a company in Green Bay build their purchasing team. This is a full-time, contract to hire position starting asap! Duties will include placing purchasing orders, tracking purchase orders, working with the accounting team to resolve purchase order discrepancies, selecting and managing the freight methods, ensuring inventory counts match that of the software, verifying products when they are received to ensure they match the purchase order, setting up new suppliers within the database including billing and pricing information, negotiating with suppliers to ensure appropriate pricing and delivery schedules are agreed to, develop a supplier rating program to continually manage and improve procurement.


Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have strong communication, computer, planning and organizational skills. A two year technical or 4 year college degree OR at least two years of highly relevant work experience.
